Promoters
Irfan Razack’s visionary leadership, foresight and sharp business acumen has manifested in the success of the business conglomerate, the Prestige Group, which has completed several million sq.ft. of world-class real estate development across the residential, commercial, retail, leisure and hospitality sectors in Bangalore and other metros.
Mr. Razack is a philanthropist and actively supports many Government agencies towards a better Bangalore. An active Rotarian, he was also one of the privileged few to be inducted into the Arch C Klumph Society. He is often a special invitee to the Southern Regional Council of CII. Mr. Razack was voted as one of the Best CEOs in Asia (Best In India) in the reputed Institutional Investor (II) magazine’s 2014 All-Asia Executive Team Rankings. He was also conferred the ‘Bharat Ratna Sir M Visvesvaraya Award’ in 2015.
Mr. Razack’s dream of international education at an affordable price and to contribute more towards the education sector led to the 'Educate India Foundation’, another Prestige initiative through which he co-founded the leading Toddler - Grade 12 International School in Bangalore called Inventure Academy.
Co-Founder
Nooraine is an educationist, entrepreneur, and change maker. She conceived, conceptualized and made possible Inventure Academy, a ‘vanguard for holistic education’. With a Master of Science degree in Management from Boston University, she worked with IBM and Reuters in a front-line and managerial capacity. She returned to India in 2003 (after 12 years across the UK, USA, Middle East, Australia and Greater China region), to be a ‘citizen with a say’. Her aspiration is to impact positive change at scale in collaboration with the Government & the wider learning community by empowering youth.
She is a speaker at Universities, conferences and summits and shares perspectives on the Draft New Education Policy (NEP). She was instrumental in drafting a White Paper for Government and schools across the socio-economic spectrum to formulate online schooling models for quality education to all in the post-COVID world. Her Alliance for #RighttoLearn brought together like-minded schools and stakeholders for a strong movement to enable the right of all children & educators to learn and teach, anywhere, anytime. She co-created Inventure’s Our Voice platform, which led to private and Government school students contributing to the Karnataka State Child Protection Policy for Educational Institutions, the NEP, and in identifying and solving problems in their communities via Inventure’s Changemaker Challenge.
Nooraine has played for both the Karnataka women’s cricket and basketball teams, is a yoga and fitness enthusiast and an avid golfer who has represented India at club events. Fortune India Magazine featured her in a list of ‘Future 50 Leaders Shaping Success’ (2019).
Management team
Nooraine is an educationist, entrepreneur, and change maker. After co-founding Inventure, she continues to initiate/co-design and implement a number of innovative educational programmes that form the foundation of the school.
She has an MSc in Management from Boston University, and has worked all over the world with several corporate entities before returning to India determined to make a difference. She is actively involved in the educational policy paradigm in India at the highest levels, and brings the best of her inspirational ideas to make Inventure’s learners be part of the change.
Nooraine believes education is a lifelong journey, and that every child should have access to a quality education which helps them fulfil their life’s purpose and contribute to making the world a better place.
Whitefield-Sarjapur Campus
Meenakshi has been Principal of Inventure Academy since 2018, and has been in education for over twenty-five years of teaching, and six years of administration. She’s been Head of School (Middle and Senior), and Head of IB DP at Indus International School, Bangalore. She is a driving force in the school and is passionate about working collaboratively with learners, teachers and parents as equal partners in the field of education.
Ramesh has been an educationist – a teacher, administrator, and part of the Senior Management Team – at international schools (IB & CAIE) in the Philippines, Japan, Malaysia, and India for the past 40 years. He has been with Inventure for 10 years.
Preet is the Dean of Student Affairs at Inventure Academy. She is a Founding Team member, with over 25 years of experience career counselling school learners, working with the Times of India’s Newspaper in Education (NIE) program, diagnostic educational testing, promoting the International Assessments for Schools from the Educational Testing Centre, UNSW Australia, and the ASSET test.
Varsha is a Founding Team member and has been at Inventure since 2005. She has a Master’s in Business Administration, and over 20 years of experience in Finance & Administration. At Inventure Academy she is responsible for HR, Finance & Accounting, Taxation, Administration, Legal and Procurement.
Sowmya has been with Inventure since 2011, and works to continuously upgrade the Inventure curriculum by creating, innovating, reviewing and adopting best practices from around the world. She is a Cambridge examiner and trainer and as a NEASC (New England Association for Schools and Colleges) visitor she has been part of accreditation visits in India and Asia.
Meenakshi has more than 25 years of teaching experience. She has an Advanced Diploma in Professional Practice and Design in Education and is a CAIE accredited trainer. She has been at Inventure since 2008 and is passionate about equipping teachers with progressive pedagogy and skill sets for more meaningful learning experiences.
Core Central Team
Radhika is a Founding Team member with 26+ years in the education space. She designs the curriculum for Inventure’s signature Theme-Based Learning program for Primary School, and for the Ramagondanahalli Government School (adopted by Inventure Academy in 2019).
With over 37 years of experience in sports performance, fitness, and health, Kishen is a highly qualified Human Movement Specialist. Kishen has served as the Head of the Beyond Academics & Sports Programs at Inventure Academy since 2015, where he designs and implements K-12 Physical Education & Sports programs, as well as Inventure’s performing and visual arts and Yoga Beyond Academics programs.
Aaron Joseph, with a background in the sciences, art and design, has been working with designing and managing Inventure Academy's Makerspace for several years. He feels there is much more to education than the traditional approaches which are still in use. With his unique perspective of facilitation, his students and team are always enthusiastic to collaborate and create.
Mary holds an MBA from IIM Bangalore, and degrees in English from Oxford University and Economics from LSE. She has held senior roles in multinational organizations, and brings her experience to Inventure, heading Strategic Initiatives and Communications since 2015, ensuring alignment with its overall goals and objectives.
School Team
Inventure Academy, Whitefield Sarjapur Campus
Meera joined Inventure Academy in 2018 to head the Inventure Preschool. With degrees in Hotel Management and Education, she has worked across industries and a spectrum of schools for over 18 years.
Mousumi began her association with Inventure in 2016 as the Head of the Department for Commerce. Now she is Section Head for Middle and Senior school. She has a Masters in Economics as well as an MBA from Symbiosis Pune, and worked in HR management with corporates before transitioning into academia.
Inventure Academy, Yeshwantpur Campus
Humera joined Inventure Academy in 2008. Experienced as a co-ordinator from Grades 1 to 5, she has handled many portfolios across the school including Production, Beyond Academics and House Advisor.
